Putin signed a decree on sanctions against Ukraine

The reason for the sanctions was stated to be “unfriendly actions of Ukraine towards citizens and legal entities of the Russian Federation.”

The text of the decree requires all government bodies and individuals who are residents of the Russian Federation “in their activities to proceed from the fact that from the date of entry into force of this decree, special economic measures are applied to individual individuals and legal entities.”

The essence of the sanctions and the persons to whom they will apply is entrusted to determine the government of Russia.

The decree comes into force on the date of its signing and is subject to cancellation at the request of the Russian government in the event of the abolition of restrictive measures imposed by Ukraine on citizens and legal entities of the Russian Federation.

Let us recall that recently at a meeting of the Valdai Discussion Club, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that in the event of nuclear aggression from another state, Russians “will go to heaven like martyrs,” and the attackers “will simply die.”

“The aggressor must know: retribution is inevitable, he will be destroyed anyway. And we, as victims of aggression, we, as martyrs, will go to heaven, and they will simply die. Because they won’t even have time to repent,” the president said.

After this phrase in the hall there was laughter.

Putin's words caused a strong reaction from users of social networks and became the reason for a lot of jokes.

A couple of days before the White House is temporarily removed the sanctions from the head of "Roscosmos" Dmitry Rogozin. Previously, Rogozin called the US and EU sanctions against Russia a shot “in his own foot” and stated that “tanks do not need visas.”
