Florida resident caught an alligator with a trash can: the video immediately became popular on social networks
A video is gaining popularity on the network, where 26-year-old Eugene Bozzie approaches an alligator with an open dumpster. The alligator slowly backs away and Bozzie can be heard saying, "Let me know when the head goes in." The edition told in more detail USA Today.
The alligator is somehow placed inside the container, after which Bozzie picks it up and closes the lid, while the nearby observers cheer on the daredevil.
Bozzie said he learned about the reptile from his children, but thought it was an alligator cub. As soon as he saw how big he was, he realized that he had to act, because not only his children, but the neighbour's kids were playing near the house in Mount Dora (Florida).
“The only thing that came to my mind was to protect myself and the other kids playing outside,” Bozzi said.

Bozzie, a veteran of the US Army, decided to take the trash can from his home to try and catch the alligator. Initially, he had a bad angle and the reptile could attack him.
“I decided to use the upper part of the container as a mouth,” the man explained. “When the alligator started to retreat, I realized I had an advantage.”

The reptile was eventually trapped, and about 40 people watching it began to applaud and cheer on Bozzie. One of the mothers even thanked him very much.

After blocking the alligator, Bozzie lowered it into a local body of water. He kicked the trash can and ran away, after which the alligator crawled out and disappeared into the thicket. The man assured that neither the reptile nor any of the people were hurt.
Bozzie said that social media users still admire him, but he in no way feels like a hero.
“I just did what I had to do in that situation,” this brave man modestly replied.
While some of those who watched Bozzie save people from a potential threat were more concerned about how the alligator felt at that moment.
