Election tension: Biden ridiculed Trump, but he himself was embarrassed with a teleprompter

During a speech in Washington on April 24, US President Joe Biden ridiculed Trump, but also made a mistake himself. He read the teleprompter instructions out loud, reports Dailymail.

Biden spoke in Washington at the North American Building Trades Union (NABTU) conference.

He told people what he could achieve if he were re-elected and given “four more years.” After this phrase, the 46th President read aloud the teleprompter prompt. Seeing the word “pause” at the end of the sentence, Biden decided to say it too.

“Imagine what we can do next! Four more years! Pause,” he said.
The crowd, despite the awkwardness, began chanting: “Four more years!”

Trump and bleach

During his speech, the current US President accused Republican candidate Donald Trump in that he looks down on union members, and also criticized the policies that he pursued as head of state during the coronavirus pandemic.

“Think about the guys you grew up with that you want to corner and beat up,” Biden said, referring to Trump. - I don't suggest hitting. But we all knew guys like that growing up.”

“By the way, remember when Trump wanted to treat COVID with bleach? “He called for injecting it into the veins,” Biden noted. “But he missed – all these manipulations only affected his hair.”

This joke got the audience going.

“I shouldn’t have said that,” Biden admitted.

“You guys are a bad influence on me,” the president added, laughing.

After the event ended, the Trump campaign immediately took notice of Biden's embarrassment.

“Cognitively impaired Joe Biden reads verbatim from the teleprompter: 'Four more years.' Pause,” says a press release from the campaign headquarters Trump. This was confirmed by a video of Biden's mistake.
