Trump accused Nancy Pelosi of high treason and demanded her impeachment

The US President demanded the “immediate impeachment” of Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi. The head of the White House accused her of “high crimes and misdemeanors, and possibly treason.” He wrote about this on his Twitter page, writes "Voice of America".

The "high crimes and misdemeanors" charge Trump is citing is a legal term commonly used to formulate grounds for impeachment in the United States. It includes allegations of misconduct by officials: corruption, negligence, perjury, abuse of power, bribery, witness intimidation, misuse of public funds, dereliction of duty and other crimes.
