15 networks that close their stores in the US in 2018 year

This year has been financially difficult for some retailers, particularly in the toy, electronics and clothing sectors, whose customers are increasingly being snatched away by online retailers.

While some companies thrive during the retail apocalypse, others are not able to keep up with the changing demands of consumers. Edition GO Banking Rates collected data on the largest store closures in 2018.

• Abercrombie & Fitch: 60 stores
• Sam's Club: 63 Store
• Guess: 100 stores
• Winn-Dixie: 94 Store
• Foot Locker: 110 Stores
• Michael Kors: 125 Stores
• Crocs: 158 Stores
• Gap and Banana Republic: 200 stores
• Mattress Firm: 200 stores
• Best Buy: 250 Stores
• The Children's Place: 300 stores
• Teavana: 379 stores
• Walgreens: 600 stores
• Ann Taylor and Lane Bryant: 667 Stores
• Toys R Us: 800 stores.

However, some retailers are flourishing. For example, Target announces employment of 120 000 seasonal workers this year. Due to the shortage of workers, many networks are ready to provide employees additional benefits and bonuses.
