Trump nominated for the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize for the third time
President Trump received his third nomination for the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize in September, this time from a group of Australian law professors. Fox News.
“Trump has decided that he will no longer drag America into endless wars that achieve nothing but the murder of thousands of young Americans and the enormous debt imposed on America,” said Australian legal scholar David Flint. “It makes America less likely to get involved in any war.”
Flint praised the president's role in bringing about a peaceful agreements between Israel and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
“Trump moved forward and negotiated against all advice, but he did it with common sense,” Flynt said. “He negotiated directly with interested Arab states and Israel and brought them together.”

“He was also the first American president to figure out how to make America energy independent from the Middle East,” Flynt added.
Trump was first nominated for the 2020 Nobel Peace Prize by a member of the Norwegian parliament for his role in the peace agreement between the United Arab Emirates and Israel. A few days later, a member of the Swedish parliament nominated Trump for the same nomination for helping to reach an agreement to normalize economic relations between Serbia and Kosovo.
"It's an honor to be nominated, and I know it means a lot," Trump said in September. “I just think it’s very important for our country.” This shows that we are always trying to make peace, and not go to war."
The Nobel Peace Prize Laureate will be announced on October 9th.
