Intolerant: air passenger in North Carolina could not wait to disembark and jumped onto the wing through an emergency exit
A passenger on a canceled American Airlines flight from Charlotte, North Carolina was arrested on Thursday July 1 after opening an emergency door to get out of the plane. The edition told in more detail Fox Business.
An American Airlines spokesman said flight 2396, en route from Charlotte to Thurgood Marshall Baltimore-Washington International Airport, Maryland, was canceled due to severe weather conditions that limited air traffic across the Atlantic and northeast.
However, the cancellation came after 172 passengers and six crew members had already boarded the plane.
One of the passengers, Brandon Goldner, a WCNC reporter, tweeted that everyone was stuck on the plane for at least half an hour after the flight was canceled because there was no one to operate the boarding bridge and asked for help.

Instead, he "opened the emergency exit over the wing and jumped onto the ramp," the spokesman said.
In a follow-up tweet, Goldner shared an image of an open emergency door.
The passenger was immediately detained by the airline employees and taken into custody by the police. His name was blacklisted by the airline pending further investigation.
The rest of the passengers left the plane after waiting on board for about 40 minutes. The airline confirmed that each customer's ticket was rebooked for an alternative flight.

“We thank our team members for their professionalism and apologize to customers for any inconvenience,” the spokesperson added.
This is just one of many flights affected by the change in the carrier's operations.
At the end of June, the airline announced that it had been forced to cancel more than 80 flights a day and adjust "part" of its flight schedule in July.
Despite stepping up operations to meet the recent surge in travel demand during the peak summer season, the carrier faced unprecedented weather that ultimately disrupted operations for a month. Many airlines also suffer from staff shortages.
