The cradles, which retailed for around $ 108, were sold from January 2014 to December 2020. Fisher-Price is recalling approximately 120 items.
“The babies were reportedly laid on their backs and then found on their stomachs,” the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) said in a statement.
The deaths occurred between April 2019 and February 2020. The victims were a 4-month-old baby from Missouri, a 2-month-old infant from Nevada, a 2-month-old toddler from Michigan, and an 11-week-old newborn from Colorado.
“Nothing is more important to Fisher-Price than the safety of our products and the trust that families have in us,” said Fisher-Price CEO Chuck Scoton. “These incidents are truly heartbreaking. We are committed to educating parents and guardians in the safe use of all our products, including the importance of following all warnings and instructions to ensure the health and safety of babies and children. ”

Fisher-Price is also recalling Soothe'n Play 2-in-1 rocking chairs for children. There were no fatalities, but a spokesperson said they were "included in this review because of their similarity to Rock'n Glide 4-in-1."
“Both products are safe when used in accordance with warnings and safety guidelines, but we believe that voluntary product recall is the right course of action to reduce the risk of accidents,” the spokesperson explained.
Soothe'n Play 2-in-1 sold for about $ 125 from November 2018 to May 2021.
Parents who own one of these chairs should stop using it and contact Fisher-Price for a refund.
