In 3 days (May 6) it will be possible to find out the results of the DV-2024 green card lottery. This is the lottery, registration for which took place from October 5 to November 8, 2022.

How to check results

You can find out the results of the lottery ONLY on Online www.dvprogram.state.gov. To do this, you must enter the confirmation number of the lottery participant, as well as indicate the name and year of birth of the applicant.

If on the page that opens you see a barcode and your data, congratulations, you have won.

Important! This is the only way to find out about lottery results. The Department of State will not send any email or regular mail. Only scammers can call or demand money for checking the results. Don't fall for their bait!

The results of the DV-2024 Green Card Lottery will be available for verification until September 30, 2024.

In addition, until September 30, 2023, you can still check the lottery results for 2023 - at same site. Registration for the DV-2023 draw took place from October 6 to November 9, 2021.

What to do next

So, you check the results and there are two options for the development of events: you either won, or try again next time.

If you win, then you have a difficult path ahead - visa application form DS-260, medical examination, collection of documents for the interview.
