Ukraine closes borders: neither foreigners nor Ukrainians will be allowed into the country
President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky announced the complete closure of borders for passenger traffic. Even Ukrainian citizens will not be allowed to pass, reports Air force.

“We act as tough as today and the challenges of the future require. That is why until the end of Friday, March 27, the state border will be closed and all passenger transportation will be stopped,” Zelensky said.

The restrictive measures currently in force in Ukraine prohibit only regular passenger transport, but Ukrainian citizens can still return to the country, including those whom the state returns from other countries on an emergency basis.
"We don't have time to wait"
“Two weeks ago I asked the Ukrainians to urgently return. Most did it on their own; we returned about 80 thousand others home by plane and train. But today we have no more time to wait. We are faced with a choice between the safety of citizens who are still abroad and the safety of 40 million citizens who are inside the country,” the President explained.
According to him, the diplomatic missions of Ukraine and the Ukrainian community abroad will take care of those who will not be able to return in the near future.

“We will not forget about a single Ukrainian who will not be able to return in the coming days. Gradually, everyone will be returned home, but taking into account the epidemiological situation at your place of stay, as well as the possibility of your mandatory isolation,” Zelensky said.
In Ukraine, according to the latest data from the Ministry of Health, 156 cases of 2019-nCoV coronavirus infection were recorded, 5 people died.
