A very lucky cat from the state of Montana is alive and well after she was literally defrosted in the clinic after she was found frozen in a snowdrift.

Fluffy owners, who live in Kalispelle (Montana), in the extreme north-west of the state, 31 January found a cat in the snow, she showed no signs of life, and her wool was covered with ice and snow, writes ABC Action News.
31 January in the region was about 8 degrees Fahrenheit (-13 Celsius), for a month there fell about 16 inches (40 cm) of snow.
Dr. Jevon Clark, working at the Animal Clinic in Kalispell, said that when the owners brought Fluffy to the clinic, the animal's body temperature was so low that it was not even recorded on a thermometer with a lower range of 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32,2 degrees Celsius). According to Clarke, the body temperature of cats is usually around 101 degrees Fahrenheit (38,3 Celsius).
After about two hours of defrosting with warm water and blankets, the temperature of the cat was still too low, so she was sent to the emergency room. After a few more hours, Fluffy finally showed signs of recovery.

On Tuesday morning, the zoo clinic shared the good news that Fluffy had fully recovered and returned home to her hosts on her social media page. Facebook.
