American journalist: Ukraine collected evidence of democratic corruption, but the US ignores it

Ukrainian law enforcement agencies have gathered evidence of corruption and other violations of laws by representatives of the US Democratic Party, but for some reason this does not interest anyone in America.

“Ukrainian authorities say they have been trying to turn over this evidence to the Justice Department since last year, but it has been ignored in the United States. First - at the US Embassy in Kyiv, where they are not given a visa so that they can come to the US and deliver evidence in person. They then brought in the Bush-era US Attorney and asked him to deliver the evidence to the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York, but he never contacted them after that request was made. They are now hoping that US prosecutors will take the case and file a lawsuit aimed at recovering funds that they believe were stolen as a result of Democratic corruption schemes,” Solomon said.

He stressed that part of the evidence collected by Ukrainians points to direct contacts ex-State Secretary Hillary Clinton’s headquarters of the pre-election staff and the National Democratic Committee with the Ukrainians in attempt to influence the outcome of the US presidential election in 2016.

“They have two affidavits that Ukrainian law enforcement agencies tried to influence the US elections in favor of Hillary Clinton. We are talking about an audio recording of the words of the head of NABU, this is a kind of Ukrainian FBI, anti-corruption police. In the recording, he says he tried to help Hillary Clinton by leaking documents about Paul Manafort's dealings. “They have evidence of contacts between the Democratic National Committee, Hillary Clinton’s campaign and Ukrainian officials in Washington, in which they exchanged evidence about Donald Trump’s alleged ties to Russia,” Solomon explained.

According to the journalist, this is only part of the evidence. Ukrainian law enforcement officers also possess information related to former US Vice President Joe Biden’s corruption schemes and 3 million dollars his son received thanks to his father’s schemes.

“Therefore, Ukraine has a lot of evidence, but it seems that no one in Washington is interested in it,” Solomon concluded.
