According to employees of the Florida Commission for the Protection of Fish and Wildlife, the alligator will be trapped and transported to a more suitable place for him.

According to officials, a reptile attack on a 14-year-old teenager occurred on Tuesday, June 2, in Charlotte County, Florida.

The Commission said that the alligator bit the minor when he was walking near the pond.

The teenager was rushed to hospital and is expected to make a full recovery.

They promised to catch an alligator and transport them to a nearby reptile farm.

Officials reminded Florida residents that alligators are more likely to be more active as air temperatures rise.

“Never feed an alligator and keep your distance if you see one. Swim only in designated swimming areas during daylight hours. And keep pets on a leash away from the water,” officials reminded.
