Reptiles also love comfort: a family in Florida discovered an alligator in the pool
A family vacationing in South Florida was faced with an incredible sight: a living alligator was sitting on an inflatable reptile in the pool adjacent to their house. Writes about it Fox News.

Georgia resident Dave Jacobs said his family was in Miami for a wedding. The incident occurred back in 2019, but the couple just now posted photos. Last May, they noticed an alligator floating in a pond near a country house. He attracted the attention of the dog Raskala, who barked and ran all day on the poolside terrace near the inflatable reptile.
“It was a lot of fun,” Jacobs recalled. “But the next day there was a live alligator in the pool.”

Jacobs' wife called the landlord, who handed him over to a couple via Airbnb. He hired an alligator hunter to catch a reptile from the pool.

“It would seem nothing surprising, but for me it was extremely unusual,” Jacobs noted.
The family subsequently left the house to go back to Georgia. The couple took with them the unique experience of living in Florida, which they share with their family and friends.
“We have alligators in Georgia, but they live in uninhabited areas. For example, in swamps where no one lives,” Jacobs commented. “But in Florida, they are literally your neighbors.”
