In Florida, a 3-meter alligator made his way into the pool near a private house and made himself relax
A Florida resident was shocked when she discovered a horrific intruder enjoying a morning dip in her pool. It was a giant 3-meter alligator, reports New York Post.
Lynn Tosi of Stone Island described how she went outside on March 8 to let her dog out and saw a huge reptile chilling in her pool. The alligator made a hole in the fence and invaded the property.
“It was definitely an unexpected surprise,” Lynn said.
For people living in Stone Island, alligators are a common sight. Residents try to stay away from local lakes teeming with predators.
But Toshi said she didn't expect to find one of these scary creatures on her property, which is more than two blocks from the nearest body of water.

Moreover, Toshi's pool is surrounded by a high mesh fence, but this did not stop the three-meter monster.
“The alligator broke right into the yard,” Tosi said. “I have no idea how long he was here before I noticed him this morning.”
Tosi and her husband called the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission. Rescuers arrived at the scene and pulled the reptile out of the pool. Rescuers found the alligator too annoying and subsequently euthanized it.

This is the third alligator caught and killed in Volusia County in the past week.
On March 11, a man in Daytona Beach heard what he thought was a knock on his front door and opened it. Behind the door was an alligator, which immediately attacked him and bit him. The next day, a man in Delton shot and killed another alligator that broke through the backyard fence and pinned the head of the homeowner's dog in its mouth.
