In New York, a pizza delivery boy detained a robber suspect
Domino's pizza delivery man helped police detain a robbery suspect who was recently committed at Upper West Side in New York, writes AM New York.
Sergeant William Rivera, along with four other officers, searched for several suspects who had stolen AirPods from a woman. One of the suspects, Lovell Ambrister, was found near West 72. According to the police, the man ran away from them, throwing fake bills in $ 50 out of their pockets.
A Domino's pizza delivery man who delivers orders on a moped saw the incident and decided to intervene. “I’ll stop him, officers!” the guy shouted to the police.
He caught up with Ambrister and held him, putting the moped in such a way as to block the road. The pizza delivery man held the suspected robber until the police arrested Ambristera.
Detectives brought the criminal to the scene, where the injured woman identified him as involved in the robbery.
“In addition to the robbery, he paid with counterfeit money at two stores, where he bought inexpensive items using fake invoices, so that he could then return the goods and receive real money,” police wrote.
