In Maryland, two Americans beat an immigrant for trump's cap
Maryland State Police stated that an West African immigrant was beaten by two local residents for wearing a cap with the election slogan of “Make America Great Again” by US President Donald Trump, also known as Trump's cap or MAGA cap.
On Monday, Montgomery County police announced two arrests in connection with beatings for political reasons, writes Fox News.
Atsu Nable said that on April 2 in Germantown two men approached him, angered by the fact that he was wearing a Trump's cap. One of the men unexpectedly hit him from behind, shocking Nable. The victim asked why they were doing it, and they replied that the whole thing was a cap. After that, they started hitting Nable on the head.

The victim told reporters that he proudly wears a cap as a longtime supporter of President Trump. According to Nabel, he became a naturalized US citizen after emigrating from Togo, West Africa, in 2007, and also participated in Trump campaign events and served as a volunteer for the president’s inauguration.
Police detained Jovan Crawford, 27-year-old from Germantown and Scott Duncan Roberson, 25-year-old from the District of Columbia, who were charged with assault on Nabl, as well as robbery, attempted theft and conspiracy.
In a press release, the police said that at first Nable tried to get away from the attention of both men. When they approached him, he reportedly said that he was wearing a MAGA cap, because “he has the right to his own views”.
“The suspects continued to beat the victim until he fell to the ground,” police said.
