US President Donald Trump is considering using two slogans at once during the presidential campaign in 2020. The American leader spoke about this on Tuesday evening at the Washington National Building Museum. His words are conveyed by the White House press pool, according to TASS.

The president highlighted the success of the "Make America Great Again" slogan he used during the 2016 presidential campaign. “A lot of people say this may have been the greatest theme in politics,” he said.

Speaking about the 2020 presidential campaign, Trump initially toyed with the idea of ​​using a new slogan, "Keep America Great," because his administration has "already made it great." He then asked those in the room to show by applause which of the two slogans they liked better. The White House press pool called the “voting results” inconclusive.

“We will decide,” the president emphasized, adding that he likes both slogans. “I feel like we’ll try to use both,” he said. The head of state also said that he would soon make a decision on what specific proposals he would bring to the presidential elections in 2020.

"[Former US presidential candidate] Hillary Clinton had some 'let's stick together' thing or some other crap," Trump said. He joked that the former first lady allegedly paid “one smart guy” $1,9 million for this slogan. At the same time, Trump said that he himself came up with the slogan for his campaign.

The US campaign will start in February 2020, when in Iowa and New Hampshire the first meetings of party activists and primary elections will be held, at which they will elect delegates to the Democratic and Republican national congresses. The Democratic National Convention will be held on July 13-16 on July 2020 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where the name of Trump's rival for the presidency will be announced. Republicans will hold their convention from 24 to 27 on August 2020 in Charlotte, North Carolina.

The 59 US Presidential Election will be held on November 3 of 2020.
