In California, more than 200 people are missing after forest fires
In the county of Butte in the north of the US state of California, after the devastating large-scale forest fires, 203 are considered missing. This is reported by local media.
As the sheriff of Cory Honey County said, authorities believe that 88 people were killed during a fire in the north of the state, no new bodies were found. Now rescuers continue to search and try to find out what happened to those who are on the list of the missing, writes Today.
The flame destroyed more than 14 thousands of homes and 62 thousands of hectares of land. At the moment, thousands of people cannot return to their homes and spend the night in special centers, churches and schools, as well as in tents and cars.
Recall that the most devastating and deadly forest fire in the history of the state, which swept it a couple of weeks ago, was recently completely localized.
According to the Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, it was not without the help of nature that it was possible to take control of the fire - after the fires, rainfall fell on California.
