Russian-Irish drama "Moscow never sleeps" goes into the American rental

9 June in the United States goes to the rental of Russian-Irish drama “Moscow Never Sleeps” Irish director Johnny O'Reilly. At the center of the film with the slogan “One City. One day. Five people whose lives will change forever” is the story of five Muscovites connected by hidden ties. The unbridled energy of Europe's largest city is fully manifested in the heroes. Their stories testify to the courage, cruelty and strength of the Russian spirit, and also remind us how priceless humanity is.

The main roles in the film were played by famous Russian actors Mikhail Efremov (“Spiritless","Generation “P”, “Citizen Poet”), Alexey Serebryakov (“Leviathan”, “Pyramid”), Yuri Stoyanov (TV program “Town”, “Man at the Window”, “Friends of Friends”), Evgenia Brik (“The Geographer Drank the Globe Away” ", "Hipsters"), Oleg Dolin ("Wild Field", "Unforgiven"), Alena Babenko ("Driver for Vera", "High Security Vacation") and others. All actors and director will be present at the US premiere.

In the multi-story drama “Moscow never sleeps,” 5 images are revealed: Entrepreneur (Alexey Serebryakov), whose business empires are threatened by the collapse of influential and corrupt officials. A teenage girl (Anastasia Shalonko) from an incomplete family, whose only dream is to find her father who left her. A young man (Sergey Belov), forced to choose between his grandmother who raised him and his lover. The singer (Eugenia Brik), gifted with a stunning voice and beauty, “chained” to two men who will stop at nothing in the battle for her heart. The famous actor (Yuri Stoyanov), experiencing a personality crisis, which suddenly turns out to be drawn into the story of the abduction.

I’m happy that in the current political climate, my film can help American audiences satisfy their curiosity about Russia and Russian people, and maybe see each other as human beings, and not through the prism of television news,” says the film’s director Johnny O’Reilly.

Southern California viewers will be able to see the movie in cinemas. Laemmle Ahrya Fine Arts (Beverly Hills) and Laemmle Town Center 5 (Encino)starting from 16 Jun. In Washington DC, the film will be released on June 30 in a movie theater Landmark E-Street Cinema. A number of other major US cities are expected to be added to this list over the coming weeks.
