“We expect checks to be sent out to Americans immediately,” Mnuchin said. “Americans need money now, and the president wants to give it out in the next two weeks.”

“We want Americans to get their money quickly,” Mnuchin said at a White House briefing. “We want small business owners to have access to funds.”

He said President Trump also voiced the idea of ​​tax breaks.

“The tax holiday will bring money to people over the next six to eight months,” Mnuchin said. “We know that many companies have closed. People need money."
