Afghan footballer killed while trying to leave the country on the landing gear of an American plane
Afghanistan's youth soccer team player Zaki Anwari was killed while trying to fly out of Kabul due to the Taliban takeover of the city. He climbed into the landing gear compartment of a US Air Force C-17A transport aircraft, where his remains were later found. Writes about it TSN.
“Very sad news: one of the young people who tried to leave Kabul a few days ago died after grabbing the landing gear of a US Air Force C-17A transport aircraft. He was a member of the Afghanistan national youth football team Zaki Anwari. Parts of his body were found in the landing gear compartment,” Afghan journalist Babak Tagwai wrote on Twitter.
The remains of the football player were discovered after the plane landed at the El Udeid airbase in Qatar. Now the plane is temporarily not performing flights while specialists are conducting an inspection.

Earlier, a video of the takeoff of a C-17A aircraft of the US Air Force was leaked to the network. Afghan youth tried to leave the country on an American plane. Then several people who clung to the landing gear and other parts of the aircraft crashed to death.
In addition, people were just running along the runway under a moving plane, being in danger.

The US Air Force C-17 Globemaster III safely evacuated about 640 Afghans from Kabul. C-17 arrived at Kabul airport to deliver evacuation equipment and was not going to take on such a heavy load.
Before the crew could unload the cargo, the plane was surrounded by hundreds of Afghan civilians who violated the security perimeter and broke aboard. As the situation worsened, the crew decided to take off.
