Wife of US Senator threatened with death because of her husband's work
Corey Gardner, a Republican senator from the state of Colorado, on Sunday reported that his wife received a text message with a video of man decapitating after Gardner voted to approve the candidacy of Brett Cavanaugh for the post of judge of the US Supreme Court.

Gardner told Fox News that his wife received a threatening message on Saturday, a few hours after Senate Approved Cavano in a vote with a result of 50 “for” and 48 “against”, writes The Hill. Also, the senator added that someone had published the names and addresses of his family members on the Internet.
Cory Gardner is not the first GOP lawmaker to be the target of the intimidation tactic known as "doxxing" (gathering information about a person for later disclosure, blackmail and other purposes) in recent weeks.
Last week, former Democrat counselor Jackson Cosco was arrested for posting private information about several Republican senators on the Internet.
Capitol Police began investigating the trend late last month after some senators' Wikipedia pages were edited without their permission to include some personal information - such as home addresses and cell phone numbers.
Three of the GOP senators involved in the alarming situation—Orrin Hatch (Utah), Mike Lee (Utah), and Lindsey Graham (North Carolina)—serve on the Senate Judiciary Committee.
Anonymous changes to Wikipedia were made when the committee interrogated Cavano on charges of sexual harassment and rape brought against him earlier.
Kosko, who worked as an intern for Republican Senator Sheila Jackson Lee (Texas), was fired.
