The truck driver where the illegal immigrants died can be executed
The man who was accused of smuggling 39 illegal immigrants in a trailer, resulting in the death of 10 immigrants, now faces the death penalty.
60-year-old truck driver James Matthew Bradley Jr. of Clearwater, Fla., Was charged with five counts. Among them: conspiracy to transport aliens without documents for financial gain, leading to death, serious bodily harm and danger to people's lives, as well as possession of a firearm of a convicted criminal.
Bradley faces the death penalty or life imprisonment if he is found guilty of transporting people, which led to death. He faces 20 years in prison for serious charges of bodily harm and 10 years for the offender who owns the gun.

According to court documents, one of the officers found a trailer with Bradley in the cab and dozens of illegal immigrants in the truck. Five immigrants, including four minors, were released and transferred to immigration authorities. The minors are monitored by the Refugee Relocation Office.
According to the court, the immigrants who were in the trailer reported that there were 200 people during the carriage. They said that they paid different amounts for smuggling.
Bradley argued that he did not know that the immigrants were in the trailer. According to him, he guessed it, “when he got out of the car,” and then tried to help them.
