In a truck in a Walmart parking lot in Texas, 30 wounded and 8 corpses were found

The bodies of a 8 man and 30 of injured people were found in a truck parked overnight. Walmart in San Antonio, Texas.

Police associate the incident with human trafficking, writes ABC News.

17 victims were taken to hospitals in serious condition, 13 were also hospitalized, but their injuries are not serious and not life threatening. Many suffered from heat stroke and dehydration. Among the hostages in the truck were predominantly adults aged from 20 to 30 years and two children, the age of which was not reported to law enforcement officers.

The driver of the truck, whose name the investigation has not yet named, was arrested, most likely, he will be charged on behalf of the state and brought to justice at the federal level.

A police officer reported about the people in the police truck. Walmartwho heard the voice of one of the prisoners asking to give him water.

The operation to rescue people from the car began at 00:26. According to rescuers, all the dead were adult men; most of them died due to brain damage due to the heat and stuffiness in the truck.

Police are investigating where the truck came from, and also figuring out how long he was in the parking lot Walmart. Video from surveillance cameras showed that during his stay there several cars drove into the parking lot and people who survived the trip were taken from the truck.

The record shows that some of the people who were in the truck were able to escape to the nearby forest. Police scour the area around the store.

Law enforcement officers noted that such discoveries are not uncommon, and despite the death of some people, the police manage to save several victims of criminals each time.
