In Florida, a huge bear was the owner of the refrigerator, and then had a picnic on the lawn near the house

On July 9, Jason Mikel, a Florida resident, saw a large black bear emptying his garage refrigerator, reports iheart.

The man took the video. It begins with Mikel yelling at a furry mugger who is rummaging through the fridge for the first few seconds.

"Are you going to eat all my food?" Sanford's landlord says in the video, prompting the bear to take the food box and leave. The video then shows how the animal had a snack while lying on the lawn in the neighbor's yard.

Mikel told reporters that a neighbor notified him of the bear before he started recording. The homeowner also says he followed the clubfoot criminal in his car throughout the area. He claims that the bear rummaged around in another garage before returning to the woods.

There is no word on whether Mikel or other residents reported the bear to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). Wildlife officials say you should secure your garage, sequester pet food and bird food in case bears wander into the area.

“The calories a bear can consume by rummaging through a single trash can often exceed what they can find in an entire day,” the agency says. “As bears become food feeders (depending on their food source), they are more likely to frequent residential areas and cause property damage to obtain these unnatural food sources.”
