In Texas, an adoptive teenager from Russia killed his parents

US police detained a minor young man of Russian origin in the Texas city of Crowley, who is suspected of a double murder. The teenager’s victims were his American adoptive parents, reports NewsRu.

The investigation began after 29 November an anonymous report was received by the police. The man who called from the payphone at the gas station said that he smoked marijuana with Carl Brewer, and during a frank conversation he admitted killing his parents.

Law enforcement officers came to the home of Brewer's parents to verify the information received. However, no one opened the door to them. Not finding anything suspicious, the police left.

After the shift change, the police returned to Brewer's home for a more thorough check. By this time, the dwelling was drawn from the house by a deadly smell, said police lieutenant Robert Gray.

Through the glass of the front door, law enforcement officers saw traces of a struggle: a flower pot had been knocked over in the room. Then they went inside and found the bodies of the murdered owners - 60-year-old Troy and 63-year-old Mary Brewer. The man's body was in the bedroom, and the woman's was in the living room. The police did not specify how the victims were killed. But as part of the investigation, they are looking for 2 pistols that had previously been stolen from owners.

During the investigative actions, the police heard sounds similar to footsteps on the second floor of the house. As it turned out, the son of the murdered spouses barricaded himself upstairs. Then the special forces were summoned to the scene.

During the 12 hours, negotiations were held with Carl Brewer, but he did not want to give up. In the end, he managed to smoke with tear gas. The court imprisoned the adolescent with the right to release on bail of $ 200 thousand.

Police believe Karl killed his parents between 18: 30 Monday and 16: 35 on Tuesday, reports Scallywag and Vagabond.

The killed Troy Brewer was an American Airlines pilot. Since 2010, the 16 police once came to the Brewers home at the call. Who sent complaints to the police, and also was the instigator of family quarrels, is not specified.

Earlier this year, Karl Brewer was already arrested by the police for trying to escape.

It is also known that Karl, together with his two brothers, was adopted by Brewers, and before that the boys lived in Russia. According to the pastor, from time to time the brothers suffered mental breakdowns and outbursts of anger associated with children's experiences that relate to the Russian period of their life.

The reaction of Russia

The Russian Embassy in Washington reported that Brewer Carl has Russian citizenship. About it TASS said a spokesman for the diplomatic mission Nikolai Lakhonin.

According to him, which leads RIA News, the boy came from the Perm region to the United States in 2005, and was immediately registered at the consular office.

In turn, the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science said: "Cetin Edward Andreevich (Brewer Carl Edward), 1999, born in April 2005, was adopted by US citizens in the Perm Territory." “The child’s questionnaire doesn’t have information about his mental illness at the time of adoption,” the agency added.

The ministry promised to closely monitor the investigation.
