A resident of Long Island (New York) was charged with two counts of exposing a child to danger after he left his young children in an unlocked car and went for a massage.

28-year-old Jonathan Lopez from Brentwood 21 May parked his car near Verma Plaza in Hicksville near 17: 20 and left two of his sons, 3 and 9, in the vehicle, Fox 5.

According to Nassau County police, officers investigating the area noticed Lopez enter the massage parlor, leaving the children in the car.

Lopez was arrested and is awaiting trial. The children were placed under the care of their mother, Lopez's girlfriend.
