Los Angeles, California police are looking for a man who tried to rape a woman on the street in Van Nuys.

Around 5: 45 in the morning 12 August a woman approached the house where her apartment on Vanoven Street is located, when a man who had tried to talk to her in Spanish, but the woman does not speak this language, barred her way. According to her, the smell of alcohol emanated from the man.

After that, the man grabbed the victim, trying to take off her pants and underwear. The attacker threw her to the ground, where she fought with him for several minutes, after which she was finally able to escape and escape, the attacker also disappeared.

Their struggle was recorded by city surveillance cameras, which were recorded by law enforcement officers.

The record shows how another woman passes by, and cars passing by slow down, but none of the witnesses tried to stop the criminal or call 911. Trying to fend off the attacker, the woman shouted: “Fire! Fire! ”To attract people's attention.

The police said that they did not expect people to participate physically to save the victims of the crime, but they nevertheless advised to call 911, standing aside or hiding in the nearest cafe.

According to law enforcement, the suspect is a bald Hispanic man with brown eyes, aged 40-45 years, about 175 cm tall.
