In California, a security guard accidentally prevented a mass shooting at school

The police said they were able to thwart a plan for a mass shooting at a high school in Southern California.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department stated that a guard at El Camino High School in Whitty heard a “disgruntled student” threatened to open fire on the school on Friday, just two days after the high school in Florida shooter killed 17 people.

Sheriff's press secretary, Nicole Nishida, told reporters that the police discovered "several types of weapons and ammunition" after searching the house where the threatened apprentice lived.

The suspect was a 17-year-old student at the school. He threatened to go home and come back with a weapon after a conflict occurred between him and the teacher over the student’s headphones during class.

28, the suspect’s brother, army veteran Daniel Barsenas, told the police that the weapon belonged to him. Later it turned out that one of the two rifles was not registered.

The suspected teenager, whose name was not disclosed, was arrested on Friday, February 16, for threatening to commit a crime.

His brother Barsenas was arrested on Tuesday evening after numerous charges were brought, including the possession of military weapons, the importation of large-capacity stores and the possession of unregistered weapons.

Two brothers lived at home with their parents. It is not known whether the parents knew about the weapon. The investigation continues.

Recall 14 February in high school in Parkland, Florida, shooting occurred as a result of which at least 17 people died and several injured. This crime was one of the most massive school shootings in US history. First, the attacker, Nicholas Cruise, triggered a fire alarm that caused panic at school, and then opened fire on the people running.
