A judge privately blocked Trump's new immigration decree

Trump's new immigration decree has not yet entered into force, and is already being blocked in the courts. So a federal judge in Wisconsin blocked the enforcement of a revised immigration decree of US President Donald Trump, according to which the Syrian mother and child are prohibited from entering the territory of the United States.

A woman and her daughter live in the war-torn Syrian city of Aleppo. Her husband had previously received asylum in Wisconsin.
On Friday, District Court Judge William Conley decided to temporarily suspend the new decree against this woman and her child.
The new immigration decree takes effect on March 16. However, an interview at the consular section of the US Embassy in Jordan, where a woman needs to go to get a US visa, can be scheduled for a later date.
According to Conley, the woman’s husband provided grounds for a positive decision on his case. If his wife and child are forced to stay in Syria, the family may suffer irreparable damage.
At the beginning of the year, Trump signed a decree temporarily restricting entry to the US by citizens from 7 countries with a predominantly Muslim population: Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, and Yemen.
The first immigration decree was suspended throughout the country after the state of Washington won a federal court case against the application of this decree.
В revised decree Iraq is excluded from the list of countries whose citizens are prohibited from entering the United States, and some additional changes have been made. However, the latest version of the decree is also considered discriminatory. In this regard, Hawaii became the first state to sue.
Massachusetts, Oregon, New York and Washington statedthat they will follow the example of Hawaii and appeal to the federal court with a request to extend the decision to suspend the first immigration decree of US President Donald Trump to the new version of the decree.
