Amazon employees complain about working without air conditioning, exhaustion and dehydration
A group of East African employees are asking Amazon retail retailer to improve working conditions at a warehouse in Eagan, Minnesota, writes Time money.

They say that because of the lack of a working air conditioner, they are exhausted and dehydrated. Workers say that working conditions are particularly difficult for workers practicing Islam, as they now celebrate Ramadan and observe strict fasting.
“I haven't been able to work lately because I need water. I was so thirsty that I couldn't swallow my saliva. I ended up breaking my fast and drinking water for two days straight,” said order picker Nimo Khirad.
Representative Amazon Ernesto Apreza said the company provides a "positive and comfortable workplace." He said that there are air-conditioned zones at the facility in Egan, and there is also a temporary prayer room. A permanent prayer room is being built.
Christopher Warren, general manager of the facility, declined to comment.
The Minnesota Workplace Safety Agency has already inspected a company site twice Amazon in egan.
Note that in recent years, complaints about the difficult working conditions in warehouses Amazon. So in 2014, it became known about the death of two employees in the company's warehouses.
