Medical orderly confessed to killing 100 patients
German orderly Nils Högel confessed that he had killed an 100 man, secretly giving them injections to stop the heart.

The trial of Khogel began in the court of Oldenburg, and when asked by the presiding judge whether he pleaded guilty, the former orderly said “yes”, writes Rtvi.
The investigation found that Högel had injected patients with substances from which their heart stopped. Then he tried to reanimate them in order to impress colleagues and superiors.
The court believes that in six years, Högel killed 36 patients at the hospital in Oldenburg and 64 at the hospital in the neighboring city of Delmenhorst.
The relatives of the victims came to the hearing. Many of them said they wanted to know why Högel was not removed from medical practice as soon as the hospital management learned about the charges. From the moment, as it became known about the investigation, he worked for two more days, and during that time he committed another murder.
Some families believe that hospital management turned a blind eye to the sharp increase in mortality with the advent of Högel. Investigators suspect that the orderly could have killed more people, but the bodies of the dead were cremated and evidence could not be found.
In 2008, Högel's accused in that he tried to administer too large doses of the drug to two patients. In 2015, he confessed to killing six patients, and his sentenced to life imprisonment.
