Russians will not be able to come to the United States on seasonal work visas in 2024: which countries are on the list
US Department of Homeland Security (DHS) published a list countries whose citizens are eligible to participate in the H-2A and H-2B visa programs in 2024. Visas in these categories are issued to seasonal workers.

The H-2A and H-2B visa programs allow U.S. employers to bring foreign nationals to the United States for temporary employment in agricultural and non-agricultural seasonal work, respectively. Immigration and Immigration will only approve applications for these visas from citizens of countries on the DHS list.
Of the post-Soviet countries, only Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Ukraine were included in the list for 2024. Neither Russia, nor Belarus, Kazakhstan, nor the Caucasus countries are there. You can view the full list of countries at link.
The list is valid from November 9, 2023 to November 8, 2024.
DHS reserves the right to change the lists at any time by publishing a notice in the Federal Register.

The list applies only to new applications and does not affect the status of H-2 visa holders currently in the United States, unless they apply to extend their stay in the United States in H-2 status after November 9.
