Hotel in Las Vegas takes $ 100 thousand per night: what is the uniqueness of the room
Damien Hirst, the UK’s richest and most kitschy artist, designed the room at the iconic Palms Casino Hotel in Las Vegas. One night in this room will cost $ 100 thousand. Or for free if the casino opened a credit line to the customer with a limit of $ 1 million.
The two-storey 836 square apartments at the top of the Palms tower, designed by Damien Hirst, are the first and only “collection of contemporary art of this magnitude”, the Fast Company reports, quoting the hotel’s release. Inc.Russia
Hirst worked with architecture firm Bentel & Bentel to design the suite, which includes a suspended mosaic pool overlooking Los Angeles. The British artist not only created six original works for the interior design, including two sharks frozen in formaldehyde.
He also created furniture and fabrics in accordance with his trademark fetish: butterflies, patterns, and pharmacy motifs. Among other things, the room has its own bar on 13 seats, filled with used medical objects, with a skeleton of marlin (fish of the ray-finned family) and a stuffed animal from it.
The room features two California king-size beds, two and a half bathrooms, gray Venus marble and custom Las Vegas tiles. There is built-in one-touch control automation based on the principle of a smart home.
The guest is offered a car service center with a driver, access to all the hotel’s first-class facilities, including a concert hall, a nightclub, a world-class recording studio, and a loan of 10 thousand dollars for use at the resort.
That's not all - the person who pays for the room will be able to relax in a private healing salt room or take a bath with hydrotherapy, use the services of two massage rooms, a fitness center with the most modern equipment, gather his friends in a dining room for 8 people or in a bar for 17 people with a XNUMX-hour service.
