Blooming California: 8 places worth seeing in spring
Every year from March to mid-May, some areas of the California coast are filled with bright colors of blooming local wildflowers.
The state is growing a huge number of different colors, but the most popular is undoubtedly the Californian poppy, whose petals acquire different shades of orange, red, white, yellow and pink, writes Travel and Leisure.
This year, rain across the state in January and February resulted in a vibrant, vibrant super bloom.
Where to see wildflowers in Southern California
Carrizo plain national monument
