San Francisco resident disappeared without a trace, insulted a man in Trump's cap

According to the authorities, a resident of San Francisco, who caused a storm of indignation in the media and social networks after insulting an 74-year-old man in a cap with Trump's slogan Make America Great Again, was missing. This information was also confirmed by her friends. Police suspect that the woman is deliberately hiding.

46-year-old Rebecca Parker Manki did not return to her home in Palo Alto after a trip to Lake County, the sheriff’s office reported, writes Fox News. She is believed to be in Aberdeen, Washington, where her cell phone activity has been recorded. Investigators believe that Mankey is hiding due to negative attention to her person.

"There's nothing that makes us think she's in danger," said Sergeant Aaron Clark of the Lake County Sheriff's Office. “We assume that she voluntarily disappeared from view.”

Manki's girlfriend, Melissa Demyan, posted a message on Facebook, where she wrote that she had not heard from Manki more than 24 hours.

“My friend Parker is missing,” she wrote. — More than 24 hours have passed since we heard from her. I saw her for the last time yesterday when she left home from Lake County... Parker, if you're reading this, we love you so much, we just want to know you're safe. Please let us know you're okay!"

In early April, Manki attracted everyone’s attention after insulting an 74-year-old man wearing a MAGA cap at a Starbucks coffee shop in Palo Alto.

“He will never forget me and will seriously consider whether to wear this cap in this city,” she wrote on Facebook after the incident. - If you see him wearing this cap, please talk to him. You don’t want to be the person who was silent when we slipped into fascism.”

The man told the local media that Manki called him a racist and other offensive nicknames.

“This woman came up and not only yelled at me, she turned to the Starbucks customers and said, ‘Hey, everyone here! This guy is racist! This guy hates black people!” - he said.

Mankey's post caused an uproar and she ended up losing her job at Gryphon Stringed Instruments, a company that sells, rents and repairs used and antique musical instruments. She also received numerous threats online and resigned as co-chair of the Bayshore Progressive Democrats.

“Parker wanted to use her privilege as a white woman to advocate for those who live in fear because of the hateful atmosphere created by Trump,” the club wrote on its Facebook page.
