A way to save in Target, which many do not know
If you find a product with a “discount” or “sale” during your stay in Target, then you certainly want to know if this is the final price or whether it is will decline yet.
It turns out that there is a very simple way to find out - just look at the price tag, and the code on it will tell you whether this is the final price or not, writes Reader's Digest.
Cheats on price tags Target:
- Products with prices ending in $ 0,09 are sold at the regular price;
- Products with prices ending in $ 0,06 or $ 0,08 (example $ 4,38) have passed the first markdown;
- Items with prices ending in $0,04 are a final markdown.
Therefore, if you have found a product whose price ends on 0,04, then you should understand that this is a really good deal and there will be no better deal. In addition, on the price tag, you can see at what percentage the product was discounted. A small number in the upper right corner of the price tag means exactly that.
“In most cases it will be 30, 50, 70, which means 30 percent, 50 percent and 70 percent off,” said former Target executive Linda Peralta. According to her, discounts of 90% are very rare and apply mainly to sweets.
