Barack Obama wins an Emmy for narrating a movie from Netflix
At the Creative Arts Emmy Awards on September 3, Barack Obama and the late actor Chadwick Boseman received the Emmy Awards for their voice acting. CNN.
Obama won an Emmy for Outstanding Narrator for his work on the Netflix documentary Our Great National Parks.

Obama is the second US President to win an Emmy Award. Dwight Eisenhower was awarded the Television Academy's Honorary Governor's Award while still in office in 1956.
In 2008, Obama received a Grammy Award for Best Spoken Word Album. He received an award for his CD The Audacity Of Hope: Thoughts on Reclaiming the American Dream.
Obama is now halfway to becoming an EGOT winner. The term EGOT refers to people who have received all 4 major US entertainment arts awards:
1. Emmy
2 Grammys
3. Oscar
4. Tony
This achievement was completed by only 17 people, including Rita Moreno and John Legend. Obama has previously received two Grammy awards for audio versions of his memoirs.

Also on September 3, the late actor Chadwick Boseman was honored with a posthumous Emmy Award. Boseman won in the Voice of Characters category for his role in the Disney+ animated series What If...? , he voiced Prince T'Challa, also known as Star-Lord.
