American analysts announced the presence of about 20 missile bases in the DPRK, the existence of which Pyongyang did not disclose. Earlier, American intelligence has repeatedly stated that the DPRK does not commit real steps on denuclearization, despite the agreement between US President Donald Trap and North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

In turn, after the announcement of the joint military exercises of the United States and South Korea, the DPRK press accused the countries of undermining the agreement on reducing tensions in the region and canceled a meeting with the US Secretary of State.
