What is Amazon Big Spring Sale

The Amazon Big Spring Sale is the first sale of the spring season for all customers (not just Prime members). Amazon is offering six days of special discounts on thousands of items across all product categories.

When will the sale take place?

The company announced that the Amazon Big Spring Sale will begin on March 20 at 12:00 pm PT and will run until March 25.

The duration of this sale is different from the most famous Amazon Prime Day, which usually lasts only two days. Prime Day is known to take place in the summer, but in recent years Amazon has added another Prime Day-like event ahead of the fall holiday shopping season.

Amazon Big Spring Sale will be the first notable sale of this online service in the spring season.

How to Prepare for an Amazon Sale

The sale will be available to both Prime members and non-Prime members. But Amazon notes that Prime members will have access to "a selection of exciting exclusive offers," so it's worth joining Prime if you haven't already.

You can sign up for a 30-day free trial here, after which your membership will cost $15 per month or $139 per year. In addition to fast, free one-day delivery, you'll have access to ad-free Prime Video music streaming, plus unlimited photo storage, books, and exclusive offers for a year.

Amazon has not officially announced any specific offers, but in a press release the company noted that there will be discounts on “warm weather items such as spring clothing, as well as patio furniture, lawn and garden supplies, cleaning supplies and other." Prime members will have access to "exciting exclusive offers."

Amazon provided the following information on discounts: up to 50% on some cosmetic products;

• up to 50% - on sports equipment and equipment for outdoor activities;
• up to 40% - on some household goods;
• up to 40% - on spring clothes;
• up to 40% for electronics.
