A woman threw out a lottery ticket with a win in $ 2 million
A Michigan resident mistakenly threw away a $ 2 million lottery ticket.

The scratch-off ticket was given to the lucky girl by her husband for her birthday - according to him, he often gives her such gifts, the publication writes UPI.
The woman erased the protective layer, decided that she won nothing, and threw the ticket in the trash. However, the spouse did not believe that his wife was unlucky, he found a ticket in the trash can and rechecked. It turned out the woman won two million dollars.
The woman had a choice: to take the winnings in parts for several years, or to immediately take away 1,3 million dollars by paying taxes. The winner chose the second option.
