I forgot to bring in kindergarten: in Indiana, a child died in a hot machine

In Indiana, one of the parents left his 3-year-old son in the car for almost the whole day, forgetting to take him to kindergarten, and remembered him only when he came to kindergarten to pick up the child. As a result, the boy died due to the heat in a car parked in the sun, writes 14 News.

In the city of Evansville (Indiana), 3-year-old boy Oliver Dill died in a car when one of his parents forgot to take him to kindergarten and left him in a car.

According to the Vanderberg County Sheriff, in the morning the young parent forgot to drop the child in kindergarten. The police said that the parent realized that the child was still in the car seat only when he came to pick him up from kindergarten, a few hours later.

The police has not detained anyone yet and has not filed charges; the investigation is continuing.

“It's hard to see something like this happen to someone so young,” said Lacy Lee, a nursery worker at the University of Southern Indiana (USI).

Sheriff Weddings said that the child was a sweet boy and attended kindergarten at the child care center of the school.

Officers say they got a call near 13: 45 to report a child left in the car. The caller reported that the child was in the car in the morning.

“On the way here, the temperature in my car was about 90 degrees Fahrenheit (32 degrees Celsius), so I'm sure the temperature inside the car where the boy was was over 100 degrees (37 degrees Celsius). Parents need to double check the car before getting out of it,” said Vanderburgh County Sheriff's Department Officer Jason Ashworth during a press conference.

USI President Ronald Rochon expressed his condolences to the family and said that he would make one day off so that the center staff had time to endure the tragedy.
