In Florida, lightning killed a woman and seriously injured a man
The woman died, and the man who was with her was taken to a hospital in critical condition after being struck by lightning on a farm in Parkland, Florida.
The incident occurred around 14: 00 at Hendrix farms, Said NBC.
The woman’s death was noted at the scene of the incident, the man was promptly taken to the hospital, and doctors assess his condition as critical.
The names of the victims and the details of the incident are not reported.
“We've always talked about not going out in this weather, we've been stressing for years that lightning can be deadly, and this is a clear example that we were telling the truth. Today a person lost his life due to lightning,” said local rescuer Mike Moser.
