A child was kidnapped in Washington: after 4 years, the girl was found in Mexico
A kidnapped American woman who went missing more than four years ago has been found in Mexico, U.S. federal agents said. Read more about this publication USA Today.

Aranza Maria Ochoa Lopez, now 8, was last seen at a mall in Vancouver, Washington, when she was 4, the Seattle FBI office said.
Special agents reported that Aranza was abducted by her biological mother on October 25, 2018, and the FBI has offered a $10 reward for information leading to her finding.
Agents took Aranza's mother into custody in September 2019 in Puebla, Mexico, but the girl went missing.

The FBI said agents were eventually able to determine that Aranza had been taken to Mexico.
Authorities said the girl was in the state of Michoacán in western Mexico, and FBI special agents escorted her back to the United States last month.
“Aranza’s security and privacy are of the utmost importance,” the agency said in a statement. “Her location in the United States has not been disclosed and no further information will be released at this time.”

The FBI did not release the name of the girl's mother.
“For more than four years, the FBI and our partners have not given up on Aranza,” said Richard Collodi, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Seattle Field Office. “Our concern will now be to support Aranza as she begins her reintegration into the United States.”
