Americans want to invest more than $ 200 million in Ukraine
The US state investment agency OPIC, which accumulates American capital for investments in different countries, is ready to increase funding for Ukraine from the current 200 million dollars.
This was announced by Minister of Economic Development and Trade Aivaras Abromavicius on the social network Twitter on the results of a meeting with the leadership of OPIC in Washington.
“The American OPIC is ready to seriously increase its portfolio in Ukraine from the current $200 million,” he wrote.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Economic Development, the US investment agency has identified potential areas of investment, including energy efficiency and renewable energy sources.
OPIC is ready to invest up to 250 million in Ukrainian agricultural projects.
