More than 60 vacuum cleaners recalled in the US: they can catch fire
More than 60 Bissell vacuum cleaners are being recalled in the United States of America because they can ignite due to overheating. Writes about it WGNTV.

Some Bissell Multi-Surface Wet Dry Vacuum vacuum cleaners are being recalled because their batteries smoke when they overheat, according to the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

Among the recalled vacuum cleaner models:
- 2551
- 2551w
- 25519
The model numbers are "visible when the fresh water tank is removed".
There were 66 reports of vacuum cleaners smoking and "giving off a burning smell", with five consumers complaining of "battery fire". Among these five buyers, three suffered some material damage, one of them "got burned."
Vacuum cleaners were sold at Walmart, as well as online at Bissel, Walmart, QVC, Amazon, Costco, Kohls, Wayfair, and several other companies between January 2019 and November 2022.
