Belgorod has begun to destroy ten tons of sanction cheese, the Rosselkhoznadzor reported.
“The destruction of sanctioned products in Belgorod has begun. According to updated data, the batch of products to be destroyed is ten, not seven tons, as previously reported,” Rosselkhoznadzor press secretary Yulia Melano told the TASS agency.
According to her, the cheese will be crushed with the help of a skating rink, and then will be moved to a specially dug hole.
Three waggons (73 tons) of peaches and nectarines are also subject to destruction, but in what way, have not yet indicated. These fruits were detained on the border of Russia and Belarus. The accompanying documents indicated that peaches and nectarines were produced in Turkey.
