As a result of the January 21 air crash in the US state of Ohio, two people died. A small Douglas DC-3-65TP plane crashed right in the courtyard of a private house near the Stolzfus airfield, writes Today.
Presumably due to engine problems soon after takeoff, the aircraft rapidly lost height and collapsed onto trees and power lines.
During the fall, the entire nose of the aircraft collapsed and both pilots who were on board died. Four passengers survived. In addition, none of the residents of nearby buildings was hurt.
The United States Federal Aviation Administration reported that the crashed aircraft belonged to Priority Air Charter. It was built in the 1942 year, but in July, the 2018 of the year was found fit for flight.
