Trump Election Lawsuit: Court Denies Michigan Recount
Michigan Court of Appeals Judge Cynthia Stevens ruled against US President Donald Trump's campaign lawyers. She said the Trump team's petition to Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson to intervene in the counting process was unfounded. The details of the solution told the publication Fox News.

Trump's team is asking Benson to allow local electoral bodies to allow applicants to “meaningfully participate and control” the voting and counting process.
Justice Stevens said that while Benson is in charge of overseeing the Michigan election process, she will not be able to provide the assistance Trump's campaign is looking for as the counting process is largely complete.
At the same time, Trump campaign adviser Thor Hearn provided an affidavit in which a polling station official said he was ordered to change the date of receipt on the late ballot so that he could be counted in the vote.

Stevens dismissed the incident "as a rumor" and assured that the person did not have first-hand information about the situation.
Representatives of the Trump campaign announced that one of its election observers was excluded from the counting process. Lawyers for Secretary Benson said the statement did not detail where or when it happened.
The Trump campaign also complained that they were not granted access to video surveillance of ballot boxes, as mandated by the Michigan statute.
Stevens acknowledged that access to the video in question was not provided to Trump's headquarters, but noted that the location of these ballot boxes cannot be determined from the available data. And if there is no evidence that they were in Michigan, then it turns out that the Trump team does not have significant evidence to move the case.
